Microchip Saves Beagle and Reunites with Family After Half a Decade

After half a decade of being lost from his home in Queens, Rocco was finally reunited with his family thanks to a dog microchip that had been implanted in the beagle. You can only imagine the sheer excitement and joy that the family must have felt when Rocco the family beagle dog was returned to them.

"We have reunited families with their dogs before but never after so many years - this is unheard of," Randy Durrence of Liberty County Animal Control tells the New York Post. (Reference: USA Today, July 15, 2008)
