All of us would like to make more money on eHow. In fact, many of us are hoping to one day join the $500 a month or the $1,000 a month eHow earnings club. The question then is how do you this? While volume of articles is important, quality is key. SEO and the right keywords is extremely important.

Did you know you can use your earnings feedback in order to increase your eHow money earnings? This is a wonderful tool that many new eHow writers don't take advantage of.

Let me explain how to do it.

[1] Sign into your eHow account.

[2] Click articles. You'll see a list of your articles and the amount earned. These are defaulted to display by the most recent date to latest date.

[3] Scroll down to the bottom of the page and it will show "your library". Look on the right-hand side. Click the EARNINGS tab twice. This will now display your top earning articles in order.

[4] Look at your top 10 and top 20 earners. What keywords earned the most? Write down a list of the keywords.

[5] Write additional eHow articles with these keywords. Don't clone articles though! Think of a new angle and write from that.

Chances are if the keyword did great for you previously, it will do so again.

I'm pleased to announce that at the time of this writing, I've reached 101,234 page views on eHow. I know that eHow money only comes from people clicking the ads. However, if you don't have any visitors to your eHow articles, there isn't anyone to click the ads. I can't wait to reach the next 100,000 page milestone.

Just remember to keep commenting on articles, post articles you write from home and don't give up. You can build up your eHow empire one article at a time.

How do you earn on eHow?

I've had several people ask me how do you earn on eHow. Do you make money on each article? You write articles from home. You then submit them to eHow. You don't earn upfront money. Your articles are posted live on eHow. Then others can come to the articles you write from home. They can join eHow and comment and star rate your articles.

If you write articles from home and post for free, how do you earn money? You earn money when people read the ads that are on the page of your articles. If someone clicks the ad on the article page, you earn a small portion of the ad revenue that was generated. How much of a percentage do you earn? That secret isn't revealed by eHow.

Can you earn enough to pay your bills on eHow? Some authors on eHow are writing articles from home and earning over $1,000 a month. I'm not that lucky yet.

Some authors strike it rich with a "golden ticket" article. This is an article that does exceptionally well in the eHow site. It booms overnight! These articles will get you a lot of money from eHow. I haven't had one of those yet either.

For the average writer that writes articles from home, you need to post your articles. Wait for your articles to age at least 2 to 4 months. This puts the articles you write from home in the Google index. Then you should expect to make an average of around $1 an article that you have that is of age.

If you need say $200 a month for gas. Work and get up 200 articles. Then you can expect to make around $200 a month on eHow to cover your gas. It's really easy to do.

Write the articles and count down the days until they age. Just think at $1 an article.. if you have an article sit on eHow for 12 months.. you can earn $12 for that article. That's a good investment of time from home to earn money writing articles.

eHow Writing Goals for July

July has been a tough month to meet my eHow writing goals. I was hoping to have posted another 100 articles for this month. If you've checked out my profile page or subscribed to me, you'll find out that hasn't happened. But hey, offline life sometimes takes over!

There is good news though. Even though offline life has decreased the number of articles I wrote from home this month, I'm still earning on eHow. The formula for at least $1 per article you have when you start the month is holding true for my eHow earnings. This is with some articles bombing and no visitors clicking the ads at all. I'd love it, if the visitors were interested in my articles and ads. Some have gotten fantastic hits but I guess the ads aren't right.

I was hoping to tweak articles that had zero eHow money earnings. However, time hasn't permitted that either. Hopefully, I can get on a regular article writing schedule for the month of August.

Even if you can't write every single day for eHow, remember you're building a library of articles. Some of the articles you write from home for eHow will earn money like crazy. Others, the ads won't match up right or will have ads that people aren't interested in. Those, you'll need to eventually tweak and fix. But,you'll still be earning eHow money for articles you write from home.

$1,000 Club on eHow

I've had people message me to ask what is the magical number of articles to be a member of the eHow $1,000 club. Trust me; lots of us are wanting to join that club! Can you imagine earning that much money in residual income per month? Just picture $1,000 being deposited into your Paypal account on a monthly basis around the second week of the month. You didn't have to write a single word or promote a single article.

Is this just a daydream?

No, it's not just a daydream! You can have your cake and eat it to when you write articles from home to earn money on eHow.

The question by many readers is now, what is the magic formula? Why am I making 100 bucks a month without being on eHow six, seven months or even a year? How in the world did I hit payout in less than a month?

First, the eHow guides and books helped me to remember one thing I already knew as a writer. Use keywords in your eHow articles. My articles that have low keywords aren't earning a penny or are earning very little. They're essentially wasted. Yes, they get traffic but no-one is clicking the ads to earn me eHow money.

Second, stop wasting value writing time trying to use the keyword ad tool and the Google adword tools. These are helpful ONLY if you can't think of variations of your keyword. For example, an ad that pays $8 a click might be too competitive. Everyone and their brother has up an article with the same $8 keyword. You MIGHT get lucky and have an article that is competitive and catches readers in the great wide world of Internet and technology.

Third, write from your heart. Don't write extremely short articles. Don't write articles that are 20 pages long either. Reach a happy medium. When you get time, add pictures to your articles.

Fourth, add your article list link. When you go to your eHow profile or dashboard click articles. Up at the top, you'll see your article listing link. Don't link to your profile. Link to the articles. After all, you're hoping readers will read your articles and click the ads to get you more eHow money.

Fifth, add to your eHow library. Write, write and write some more. Even if you're not sure an article is going to earn you money. Try to write at least one eHow article each week. The magic number isn't 333 articles, 500 articles or 1,000 articles. The key is to write something each week. You will build a following of other readers that want to see what you have up that is new each week, even if it is only one article you wrote from home to earn eHow money.

Sixth, comment on other people's articles. Some eHow writers will tell you this is a waste of time. Others will swear by it. I did an experiment. I did not comment on articles for a bit. My daily eHow earnings were less. A friend of mine has added no articles. Without comments, her daily earnings stagnated. With comments, she earned a little bit more. (In another blog post coming up in the future, I'll explain WHY it helps you earn more on eHow writing comments).

Seventh, go back to your older articles. Add your article link in the reference section. See other articles by this author and put your article link. This will increase readers going to your articles and increase the chances you will make eHow money from the ads people click from your articles.

Bottom line, add to your eHow library, write what you know and comment. Most importantly, link back to your other eHow work. The goal is to keep readers on the eHow site and to keep them reading through your eHow article library.

eHow Earnings Soaring

Yesterday, I logged into eHow to check my earnings. I can now say that 2 months in a row, I am earning over 100 bucks a month in eHow money. This would make me an official member of the 100 bucks a month club on eHow. Yay!

I have 44, 944 page views. I am making roughly .005 cents per page view. Again though, we have to keep in mind that over half of my articles I wrote from home to earn money on eHow are not even two months old. Since I joined in the first week of April, none of my articles have reached the 3 month mark either for indexing by the search engine and developing a fan base.

I had hoped to have 300 articles posted by the end of June. However, I was hired full time to do freelance writing from home. My new editor is rather strict. I've been focusing on learning the ropes and trying to improve my writing for them. I'm not complaining!

At the time of this post, I have 262 articles published on eHow. A big 70 percent of my articles are earning something in revenue. I suspect as some of the April articles get indexed and reach the 3 month age mark, earnings should increase even more.

I hope to reach the 1,000 dollar club by the end of 2009. It would be so nice!

My Helium Experiment Continued

Many of you are probably wondering how my Helium experiment is going, especially after the lengthy explanation from the Helium representative on how the rating system works. Well, so far instead of around 10 cents a day, I am now earning an additional 25 cents a day on Helium... or around that.

Is the extra 15 cents worth the time it takes to read article after article? The answer is no, it isn't. Now, if I was making an average of $10 a day on Helium and rating doubled my earnings, it certainly would be. If you're making pennies or dimes on Helium, the doubled earnings is simply not worth the time it takes to rate.

Just based solely on my experiment, the additional rating resulted in my DOUBLING my Helium earnings.

Bukisa Makes Posting Changes

I've talked to several people that post articles on Bukisa. When I first joined the site to make additional passive income money from writing articles at home, articles instantly posted. You would just have to hit the publish button and you were done. This is not the case anymore on Bukisa.

In my opinion, earnings are harmed on Bukisa. It can take anywhere from three to six business days for your article to go live on Bukisa. This means virtually one week that your article is not getting indexed by the search engines and is not earning you money.

Strange thing was I never received an email from Bukisa stating they had changed how they post articles for publication.

Is Bukisa still worth the money? I average around a quarter a day with my articles and another quarter with my team. I have decided I won't be posting new articles to Bukisa. It's simply not worth the money, unless I need a link back to a particular article.

Am I Blogger Rich?

Someone once asked me if I'm blogger rich. I had to think for a moment about that. If you've read my blog, you know my Google account was banned because of the work of someone not so nice. I haven't had time to build up a bunch of affiliate links and other pay per click advertisers (other than bidvertiser).

Technically, I'm not blogger rich. I've only earned 60 cents from Bidvertiser in the past 3 months of running this blog. That's only a slight handful of ad clicks.

But realistically, I am blogger rich. I like sharing what I learn and find out on my blog. I like writing from the top of my head without worrying about grammar and all that. I know that there are some people that get enjoyment and might actually learn from my freelance writing journey.

So the answer to the question is both yes and no. I'm blogger rich in theory and blogger poor in money. Not too bad a combination.

Increase Your Associated Content Upfront Offer Amounts

I've been writing for Associated Content for over 2 years and have 2,200 plus articles up on the website. I've seen the days when AC would offer 10 bucks for a video on practically anything. There would be 8 bucks, 10 bucks, and 12 buck call for content offers. Those days are gone. Many writers complain that AC pays so little now for articles after they went to the page view bonus money.

But look around the Internet. Associated Content has the market on paying upfront for articles. You don't have to struggle with the quality of your writing. You don't even have to worry that much about SEO content of your article. Trust me, it won't affect your upfront money offers for AC.

I've experimented with niche topics, SEO, keyword density, promotion and so forth. AC pretty much as a budget that it gives to each writer for each day.

One thing I did notice was when my page view ratio to the number of articles I have submitted on AC jumped, I got slightly higher offers (about a buck). When that number drops, my offers start going downhill faster. The solution? Submit free recipes, poems and other items. Your regular following will give you a few page views.

Someone once suggested you write 1 page view only (or freebie) article for AC for every 10 articles you write.. ie 10 percent.

My clout has not affected my earnings.

How much I comment hasn't affected my page view bonus money. So far, consistently for about a year, my page view money has monthly been within 10 to 30 bucks of the other months, regardless if I comment or submit 1 article or 500 for the month.

Bottom line.. increase your page view ratio and get higher upfront offers from Associated Content. You can do it the long and tedious way of subscribing, commenting, promoting and back linking or you can submit 10 to 20 percent free articles (page view only) to increase your ratio.

Quick Secret to Supplement Your eHow Income

I'm not into doing a lot of opinions. Can you tell? Ha, ha. That was a joke if you're new to my blog!

I've spent a lot of time writing articles for eHow. The problem is, most articles don't start to see anything significant in money until they're at least 3 months old. Well, I haven't been there a full 3 months yet. How can a work at home freelance writer pay bills and wait for their library to build and age on eHow?

Also, if you write articles from home for eHow, you'll discover that they pay monthly. This means you have to really plan your family budget and finances to be able to wait for one paycheck. Many of us, myself included, are used to getting money at least bi-weekly for writing adventures and to live. You can't just tell the bill collectors, oh please wait. I'm going to get my eHow deposit soon.

So, what is my big secret to supplement your eHow income? If you are a U.S. writer, go and sign up for an account with Associated Content. Then go to your local grocery store website. Pick out food products that you've tried and cooked before. Pick out cleaning products that you've used. Write a 425 word review about the products. AC will pay you upfront money three days a week after they make the offers.

Initially, you won't get high offers. As your clout builds (through page views) you'll get more offers. Review Stream pays $2 maximum for a product review (electronics and meds-- usually). With AC you should expect to get a minimum of $3. Plus, with review stream the minimum payout is $50.

Figure out how much money you need to pay your upcoming bills that are in the near future. Figure 5 business days for AC to make and offer and 1 business day more to see the money in your paypal account. That will then let you know roughly how many product reviews you need to crank out and submit each day to get the money for a specific bill.

Write an eHow article. Then go write 2 product reviews. That's the secret to faster money to supplement your eHow income while you're new to the eHow community, like myself.

Rating Star Experiment on Helium

I will be the first to admit that I don't make a lot on Helium. I started when the site was younger and had a lot of articles under 400 words. I also don't participate in the forum and all that the way I used to do. As a result, I don't have any writing stars. I have over 400 articles and it's just too time consuming to leap frog the majority of them for the amount I earn.

I started this month doing a rating experiment. I have noticed that if I keep my rating stars to 4, I am averaging just shy of a buck a day on Helium so far this month. The month is new. It will be interesting to see if it continues. If it does, for the first time in several months, I might make payout in one month instead of two.

I'd love it if I could make more money from home writing for Helium. But I still am of the opinion that a lot of what goes on at Helium is popularity. LOL

My First 10 Buck Day on eHow Earnings

First, I'd like to thank everyone that has been reading my blog on my eHow journey. I'm starting to notice a slight increase in traffic. Thank you for helping to get the word out about my eHow earnings and my eHow blog. Without you, I'd be writing to empty air. Thank you! A special thank you to those that have visited the ad sponsors to keep it possible for me to continue writing. This blog earns money like eHow. When visitors click an ad on eHow, you earn money. Same on this thing.

Well, I'm very excited. Today when the eHow earnings updated, I had earned 10 bucks and some change. This is the first time that I've been able to do that!!! I'm very excited. I remember how I was so hoping to make 10 bucks of earnings on my articles to reach the first month payout. Now, I made it in one day.

It's very true that your articles keep paying you when you write for eHow. In fact, the older articles, as others have stated, do actually start making more than the newer articles. If you're new, keep plugging along.

I have learned something that is AGAINST what all the other tutorials and eHow guides or eBooks tell you to do. MANY of my higher earning articles are NOT the high paying keywords. Don't focus on that. Focus on writing what you know about and what you love to learn about. This is going to get you the most money in the long run.

Write articles that give good and exact how to instructions. Write about things you wished others had explained to you how to do before you set out for a task. This will help you get good eHow earnings.

I saw that one writer on eHow forum had reached their 1,000th eHow article. They said they write about the gardening niche! Congratulations.

While quality is very important, volume and a following is important as well. With quality... you'll get a following. With volume you'll increase the odds of enough articles having good enough ads that others will click them.

Happy writing and don't give up making money at home dreams that you have. You can do this. Believe in yourself.

May Results for eHow

Well, this is the start of new month. I will begin my 3rd month on eHow on the 4th of this month. How are things going?

For May, I started the month with 119 articles. I did alright for the month. Considering that NONE of my articles are aged yet, I feel really good about this.

For June, I will start the month out with 230 articles. Going on May earnings, I project that I will pull in around $150 for the month of June on eHow money. Not too shabby! That is if I write nothing at all for the entire month of June.

If you wonder if eHow works, feel good. It really does. Just follow the tips that I've been posting in my blog here. I'm not charging for an eBook on all of this... even when I make the $1,000 club, I seriously doubt I'll do an eBook. LOL

No I Don't Promote WAHM Articles

A friend of mine asked me if it was really worth my time writing from home and trying to pay bills in this hard economic time. I have to admit that it has been a bigger struggle for me in the past 6 months than it has in previous years. Upfront offers for articles written from home are significantly lower than this same time period as last year. The amount of traffic and thus page view bonus money is also significantly lower.

That brought to question then how much time I spend promoting my work at home articles that I submit for upfront payment and for page view money. Of course the articles that I ghost write from home for direct payment aren't figured into that.

I don't really promote my WAHM articles. I just don't have the time to be honest. I use the widgets for automatic posting or notification on Facebook and Twitter. That is about it. I have a Digg Account, Stumbleupon and a few other social bookmarks that I can't even remember. However, I'd rather spend my time writing than promoting.

One person tried to tell me that they made around $500 a month on Associated Content Page views. While this is possible, I'm a tad skeptical. I looked at their view numbers for 3 consecutive months and by my calculations, they're at right around half that in page view money. They promote heavily, write often and comment heavily.

Is it worth the time to promote? I'm not really sure at this point. One day when I have enough residual income coming in to pay my bills, I'll experiment with it. Right now, my focus is on making my monthly bills and doing the other stuff between assignments that currently put food on the table.

Things such as this blog don't make any money for me. Some of my other endeavors don't either. But I do them because I enjoy them. Who knows? One day they may make money for me and I'll have a nice stream of residual income from them.

New Milestone Reached on eHow in Less Than 2 Months

I love writing articles from home for eHow. I've been very excited to embark on this journey. Today, I logged into eHow and saw that my earnings had jumped to $102.08. This now puts me at the $100 mark before the end of my 2nd month on eHow.

If you wonder if you really can make money writing from home and submitting your work to eHow, the answer is YES! Keep in mind, most articles need to age at least 3 months to start seeing significant earnings.

I began my 2nd month on eHow with 119 articles. I will not give up my dream of one day writing nothing but eHow's for my income. It just thrills me so much and I'm so excited about it.

Let's look at some of my highest earners. I don't know if there is a pattern or not. I haven't figured that part out yet.

I was at the flea market and saw a hot dog cart. I was curious about how to set one up for a work at home business. I ended up writing How to Get a Hot Dog Cart Without Spending a Fortune. This article took me about an hour to write. It has earned $12.68 for me as my highest earner. I published that article 4/17.

My second highest earner is How to Stop from Getting the Swine Flu. I published it on 4/27. It has received $9.22 in earnings.

Those are not bad earnings for writing articles from home. I'm very happy with eHow. If you're new to the eHow community, don't give up hope. It does work!

May Bukisa Earnings

This month, I have earned just less than $10 for the entire month on Bukisa. With such a high pv rate, I was hoping it would be more. I have 152 published articles on Bukisa and 10 people in my network. I haven't published as many articles on Bukisa this month as other places.

Is Bukisa worth the money? I think that if you have rejects (like I get from writing for AC) that Bukisa can be at least some money coming in. It's really varied on how much time you want to put into it and all that.

I think the trick on Bukisa is to have a lot of people sign up under you. Then you can increase your monthly earnings. You can spend more time writing articles from home for other sites instead of hoping to get rich from Bukisa.

Another trick on writing articles for money on Bukisa is to know which topics do the best. A friend of mine does much better than I do with up to date relationship issue articles. Another friend does terrific with game walk throughs. Maybe I just haven't found the right niche yet on Bukisa to make it more profitable.

May Helium Payout and No Stars

I finally made Helium payout (minimum is $25) and after a couple of months, I made it to $26. I was going to cash out my Helium money. However, there is a trick on Helium. You need at least one rating star. I guess I'll be spending part of the day today making sure I get that star.

Why does Helium require you to rate? I'm not really sure. I've found this to be perplexing in and of itself.

The ad revenue from Helium is very slow. With over 400 articles, you'd think that I would make payout each month of the $25. Yet, I have noticed that I don't seem to do this, particularly if I don't rate articles a LOT during the month. This could be just coincidence. The two could have nothing to do with each other. It does make you wonder though. Hmmmm.

I'll report back in next month on how it is going on Helium. I don't plan on leapfrogging or writing any new Helium articles. All my spare time is spent maintaining this blog and working on articles to post on eHow.

Making Ad Money Without Google Account

I was the misfortunate end of a click fraud person when I ran an article directory. One of the people that I thought was an online friend, got very upset with me about some things. They ended up getting people together and clicking my Google ads repeatedly. As a result my Google account was banned.

You can make money without Google ads through Clickbank affiliate links. You can also use other places that are similar to Google. For example, I use Bidvertiser here on my blog and I get paid a few cents when someone clicks an ad.

Another way you can make ad money is to sign up with lots of different companies that are similiar to Google and Bidvertiser. I haven't had the time to sign up for them all yet but it is a goal of mine once I'm at my eHow goal.

The key is to be determined and consistent. It will help y ou make money with ads even without a Google account.

Ahead of Schedule on eHow Earnings for May

Well, I just did the numbers. For my articles that are one month old, I'm averaging $1.71. For the eHow books on how to make easy money on eHow, they say to figure $3 to $5 an article. For the regular writers on eHow, they say to figure $2 an article you write from home.

If my articles that are one month old are already at an average of $1.71, I can easily expect that by the 3 month range, they'll be $3 each. Simply amazing! It blows my mind.

Now, here is an even more interesting take. The first month of articles, I'm only earning on 48 percent of them. I'm as a whole earning on 30 percent more of my articles than when I started the first month.

Bearing this in mind, I feel confident that if you learn how to SEO, pick out your topics and write daily... it is definitely possible to make $1,000 plus on eHow as a monthly residual income.

Earned 12 Bucks for eHow Article

I'm so excited! I know that many people write from home and make tons of money per article. I have been writing for eHow from home since April 4th. So, I'm just shy of 2 months on eHow.

My article How to Get a Hot Dog Cart without Spending a Fortune is now up to $12.00. eHow hasn't even updated how much money I've made. I'm sure that it is more than this.

I literally am very excited about this article doing so well! I can't believe it. Sure it's not the golden ticket eHow money making articles like some people talk about. But just to think that this article isn't even finished earning money yet. I'm seriously addicted to eHow.

In less than 2 months, I have earnings on 67 percent of my eHow articles. This is a great way to write from home and make money. The key is to know what to write and how to write it. I feel very good about my success!

eHow Average Earnings Per Article Update

First, my apologies for not updating my blog on my eHow adventure more often. I've been busy trying to get out eHow articles and get some age on them. In the eHow forum there was a poll for article earnings. At the time of this blog post, I'm right on target of the average eHow writer for making money with eHow articles.

All of my articles combined, I'm averaging 42 cents an article. Keep in mind, I haven't been making money as an eHow member for 2 months yet.

I started out the month with 119 articles. If you do the math, my eHow earnings are 78 cents an article. Now, do the math for earning money on eHow articles. That means if I don't even increase my earning potential, I can project that for the month of June, I should make a minimum of $163.80 with the number of articles I have up today.

This means that I can literally sit back and not write another article and still make money from home for the month of June. I don't think that $163.00 is such a bad average to have for starting the 3rd month of eHow.

Here is the tricky part. eHow hasn't updated my earnings in a few days. I could be making 80 to 90 cents an article from the ones that I started the month out with.

Then if you think about people saying you triple your earnings by the fourth month? That would mean that August, I should expect around $500 a month from eHow without ever writing another word!

Of course, I'm going to still keep writing for eHow though. My goal is to get to where I can potentially earn $2,000 a month on eHow for my residual income.

Are you needing a new work from home idea that doesn't cost you a fortune? In these hard times, we just don't have the money to invest in a new work from home idea. If you need to work from home and don't have money to spend, then you should check out Craig's list.

Find items around your home that you can put up for sale on Craig's list in your area. It's cheaper than setting up a yard sale. It's free. You can always donate the items to charity if they don't sell.

I had a bag of teen girl's clothing that were in gently used to moderate condition. I was going to take them to Goodwill. Then a friend said to put them on Craig's list. I did with best offer for the price. Within 6 hours, someone came and picked up the bags from my house for 10. That was 10 bucks that I didn't have!

That went so well, I thought alright let's try something else. I had a bread maker I never use. I had an extra coffee pot (got a better one last year for Mother's Day) and a pair of my husband's work boot that were hardly worn but weren't waterproof enough. Within 5 days, I had all the items sold on Craig's list and profited 75 bucks!

I didn't have to mess with auction fees. I didn't have to do shipping and handling. No trips were made to the post office. People came to my house and picked up the items. I could've met them somewhere in public but I'm rather trusting and my husband is a big man! Ha, ha.

My point is if you want to work from home, turn your junk into money. You can work from home using Craig List for free. For about 2 hours of actual work, I was able to make a total of 85 bucks. That is good money! While I don't have a ton to sell and couldn't do this daily, just think of what all you could do for your family working from home using Craig's list.

What are you waiting for. Look around your house. Gather up a few items. Put them on Craig's list and enjoy the money you make from home without spending a single penny.

Swine Flu Earns eHow Money

I decided to give the hot topic of Swine Flu a try on eHow. Now, initially I was going to do an non-exclusive on Associated Content and re-post on Bukisa. But then I got to thinking. What if the Swine Flu topics turned out to be hot? I'd be gravely limiting my money potential from these work at home articles.

How to Handle Swine Flu and Pregnancy (a pregnant friend gave me this idea).. I have 0 ratings, 0 comments but I did manage to make 24 cents. At the time of this blog posting, eHow has the Swine Flu article with 0 views. Since I only make money if someone actually clicks a Google Ad from my article page, there had to be some views for this one! I advertised this Swine Flu article on Twitter, Facebook and my friend did it on MySpace.

How to Stop Swine Flu in the Elderly ( I used to work with the elderly).. I have 0 ratings, 0 comments and 0 page views. There were no earnings the first 24 hours of this article. I was actually surprised someone didn't click on one of the Google ad links from this article because the ads matched up very well. This was advertised on Twitter and Face Book.

How to Avoid Swine Flu during Travel was the third one I did less than 24 hours ago. This one has 0 ratings, 0 comments and 0 page views. It earned nothing so far. It was advertised on Twitter and Facebook as well. I'm not as pleased with the ads on this article as the other ones.

Alright moving right along... the next Swine Flu eHow article was posted on April 29th.. 3 days ago from this blog posting. How did it do?

How to Earn Swin Flu Passive Income has had a reasonably good response. There are 5 ratings and it has 3.5 stars and 33 page views. It has earned 19 cents so far. There is one comment on it. I think the outright boldness of suggesting to write about Swine Flu topic and subtopics offended some people's sense of morality and made them feel I was encourage ambulance chasing.

This article was advertised on Associated Content, Twitter, MySpace and Facebook. I'm surprised it only shows 33 page views with all the advertising. But then again..... it is a perhaps controversial topic. I'm not sure what to make of this one.

I started my experiment with Swine Flu articles and topics 5 days ago on the 27th. In previous posts about my eHow money, I've stated that for some articles it seems they really need to be a minimum of 5 days old to get money. Some do sooner like the Swine Flu and Pregnancy but those I still view as lucky hits.

How to Get Swine Flu Ready was my second article on eHow for the Swine Flu. It has received 3 ratings and is at 3.5 stars. There is one comment on the bottom of it. EHow is showing this article to have 597 views at the last update. How much has it made in 5 days? This article has made $3.75 so far in just 5 days!

Ok now comes the really good part. The first Swine Flu article I put up 5 days ago from the time of this blog posting was How to Stop From Getting the Swine Flu. Notice the difference in the title target key words? This article has recieved 2 ratings with the current rating being 3 stars. There are 0 comments. There are 805 views showing. The ads are great on this one. How much as it made in 5 days in eHow money? In just 5 days, this article has made $6.12.

So....

The bottom line is for 5 articles and about 1 hour's worth of time writing, I have earned $10.30 in just 5 days from a hot topic keyword.

The disadvantage is .... when the Swine Flu is no longer hot, these are not evergreen How-To's and will probably sit months with no earnings.

Swine Flu Makes Passive Income

April Bukisa Earnings Update

I have enjoyed being on Bukisa. If you've never heard of Bukisa, they allow you to earn page view money from articles you write at home. The word limit is 250 words and you can pretty much write about anything that you want. I stared on the site January 10, 2009. Since I joined, I have posted 142 articles. That's not a ton in that amount of time.

I primarily put up on Bukisa articles I wrote from home that are rejected on Associated Content. I also do some of the non-exclusive articles that I wrote for Associated Content or the free articles. I learned that it would be a good way to get a passive income without having to spend a bunch of time writing new articles from home.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy freelance writing. I just don't have but so many hours in one day.

Well, I digress. So how are things going for me on Bukisa? To date, I am now at $39.16 in earnings on the site. I didn't reach payout until April. So, I'm hoping that Bukisa really does pay it's freelance writers like it claims to do. I've never heard of anyone that hasn't gotten paid. I'm optimistic. I'll report back later and let you know if I actually see the money or not.

Helium Disappoints on the Money

I have been writing from home for Helium for quite some time. In fact, I have over 400 articles posted on their site. I actually just stumbled upon Helium and it was one of my first places to write from home as a freelance writer.

So, why am I disappointed? Typically, I can make enough money there to at least get a payout. I mean, it's not much, considering all the articles written.

This month, I barely made over $12 in passive income! I was in shock and in serious disappointment. I'm not sure what the problem is. My writing percentage went up. I have 4 stars for rating. I just really couldn't believe it.

Here's what happened:

I went and logged into my account. Then I clicked my earnings. There is was staring me smack dab in the face. Only a measly $12 for all that hard work and writing I'd done from home for them. Simply amazing!

I'm not happy. I'm not impressed. I still can't believe it. You know, you work your heart out. You do what you're supposed to do. You write articles and build up a big library. Then for an entire month you make less than 50 cents a day? We're talking freelance articles that are way over a month or 6 months old. Some are 2 years old!

Day 24 Hot Dog Article on eHow Earns $3 in 8 days

I was pleased to sign into eHow today. I have and additional $2.21 in my eHow money to be paid out next month. This is two days in a row that I have consistently made more than two buck with my work from home articles on eHow.

I am so pleased that my work from home writing is really paying off on eHow. My first article so far has made 3 bucks! Yes, I'm easily excited. I never would've guessed there would be so much interest in hot dog carts.

My article, How to Get a Hot Dog Cart without Spending a Fortune has at the last update has earned $3.24.

My keywords for this article were:

[2]hot dog cart
[3]hot dog stand

The Google ads on the Hot Dog Cart article are several for hot dog stands or hot dog carts. There are also ads to be a vendor. One of the options for a hot dog cart is the option to open a franchise. Perhaps, that step of the hot dog cart article is what triggered the vendor ad.

There is only one comment and 2 ratings on the hot dog cart article. This tells me that the number of comments and star ratings aren't really going to affect how much money you make off of a particular article you write from home to put on eHow to earn a passive income.

The hot dog cart article had been posted for 8 days when the earnings were updated that I had made over $3 on it. That is excellent. That isn't even half a month yet. Now, if I could figure out what I did with the hot dog cart article to make it so different from the others.

Hmmmm.

There is a picture for the introduction. However, there are no pictures for the rest of the article. I'm not sure what the key is to the success of this article on eHow. But hey! I'm not complaining. I do like that I had an article earn $3 already. That will help to make up for the other ones I wrote from home that didn't have any eHow money and earnings yet.

Today, I visited the local flea market. I told my husband about the hot dog cart article. Then I speculated if the people that had one got a used one, rented or were part of a franchise.

It's interesting how when you go about places in your offline life that you can think of article topics for working from home. Then the articles that you do write, will pop into your head when you're going about your daily life.

I'm still very convinced that eHow can make money from home. A passive income while I'm sleeping, spending time with the family or outside gardening. Just look at how well in 8 days the hot dog article did in earnings on eHow.

Day 23 My Highest Earning Day

Today was my highest earning day on eHow. I had an additional $2.15 added to my eHow money. I'm very excited about this! In less than 30 days with 100 articles, I should be able to expect at least 60 bucks a month from eHow, if I don't add anymore articles or do anything else. Of course, I'm addicted to eHow and will keep on writing after the weekend is over.

The eHow site didn't update page views. My youngest articles making money are from the 21st and the 22nd. That fits again with the 4 to 5 day age for articles to start generating some type of earnings.

There are still articles not making money though. Hmmm.

I've had an increase though in articles making money as a whole though. I've gone up 10 percent to 36 percent of the articles I've published to making money.

Are the articles I posted on my profile page making money? Yes, those articles are all part of the 36 percent that I'm making money from this work at home adventure.

The next question is the reports that articles with age make the most money correct? Again, my stats have proved this to be true. My very first article I wrote when deciding to venture into this work from home project has gained me $1.84. It's very close to the $2.00 mark.

So far, the following things are holding true:

[2] Articles in my featured articles are being viewed (great place to put articles that aren't getting visitors!)
[3]Not commenting on others work very much, hasn't decreased earnings
[4]Others rating 1 star hasn't decreased earnings

[6]Articles promoted on Twitter are getting more views than the ones posted on Facebook

Well, I'm not sure if this will have an effect on my eHow earnings or not. Someone is down-rating my articles. By down-rating, I mean clicking 1 or 2 stars instead of 5. Do stars really matter? I'm not sure at this point. I know that one article is showing 0 ratings and has earned me a handful of change while others have 5 stars and earned nothing. This kind of leads me to believe that stars don't affect your eHow earnings and money.

I'm still waiting to see if having up extra links in my profile helps my eHow earnings or not.

I shall continue to update periodically on my journey. We're not through the first month yet and I'm already at payout amount and above. eHow will definitely make you money working from home.

21 Days Into eHow

21 days into eHow, I now have up 100 posts. My earnings went up $13.93 with 1,178 views. Not too shabby for less than 5,000 views. I am recommended by 20 people and have 11,773 points.

I haven't been as active on the forum yesterday and today. Other things took a toll in my life.

I hope to interlink my eHow articles to one another in the resources section to see if that makes a difference in earnings.

On the 21st day, I learned the HTML code to add more articles to my profile page than the 5 featured articles. When someone clicks my public profile, they will now see 12 articles of mine right there, instead of just the 5 featured articles. I'm hoping since an eHow visitor won't have to click my articles tab button to see all my articles, that with 12 articles being exposed that I will increase my traffic and the likelihood of earnings.

eHow Earnings -- My First 2 Dollar Day

As you may recall from my eHow journey, I have written 100 articles for eHow at the moment and been there less than a month. Today, when I signed into eHow to check my earnings, I was up to my first 2 dollar day! I had jumped from $10.48 to $12.62 for my eHow earnings. This means that I will definitely get paid in May for my eHow work. That puts me at 68 cents a day in the 3 week range from the few cents a day I initially started at.

My findings are that the older articles that I originally posted are indeed earning more than my newer articles. Even though I have up 100 eHow articles, the ones from the 20th (3 days ago) haven't earned a dime. Most of the eHow articles are taking a MINIMUM of five days to see any pennies at all.

Another interesting finding look at my eHow article statistics is that 27 percent are the only ones earning any money at all. I was hoping that around 50 percent would be earning. However, there are ones on there that are less than the minimum five days that you start to see any pennies.

Only 3 percent have articles that are generating more than 1 buck each. That really surprised me. Again though, I'm thinking about the 30 to 60 day mark. Now, if the 27 percent were making at least a buck a month, that would only put me at 27 for the first 30 days and some change. I'm hoping the statistics for what I wrote get better.

Well enough with numbers. I'm going to experiment and not post again on eHow until Monday to see what type of stats I get. That will be the 5th day of age for the last batch that got me to my 100th article.

eHow Earnings -- 100th Article

Yay! I'm so excited to announce that I finally made it to 100 article milestone on eHow. That was a couple days ago. I decided to take a breather from writing and focus on catching up on the home life. You know.... those little things like chores, dishes, laundry. Ha, ha!

I posted on the forum community chatter that I posted my 100th article. Everyone on eHow was really supportive and great. I was thrilled. It was nice to share my excitement with the group and get moral support from the eHow community.

eHow Earnings Doubled Up Again

I couldn't be more pleased than I was when I went to my eHow earnings today. I have three articles that are making more than a buck each in this short time. I've only been writing articles for 17 days and am already almost at the eHow minimum money payout of $10. This is so great!!!

What have I learned so far?

It really does appear that age has a factor on how well your articles will do. My older articles are drawing in a higher percentage of money than my new eHow written articles. Hower, there was one article (How to Get Cheap RV Rentals) that was up less than 24 hours and received eHow money.

I think that the inbound or backlinks to the individual eHow articles is also important. Every single article that I have posted on eHow has been posted on my Facebook page. I also have backlinks from Bukisa, Associated Content, a few on Twitter, and a handful on MySpace.

The third thing that I had heard, learned in the eHow tutorial books and seen on the forum was keywords are imperative in your eHow articles. I do believe this to be true. Some of my articles that have earned nothing so far have poor ads on them. Later, I intend to go edit and tweak the keywords a little bit more.

I'm feeling optimistic!!

I truly feel that it is possible for my financial goals to be met through eHow. The trick seems to be getting enough articles posted and learning more about which ones will draw quality traffic and have their ads clicked.

I hope to reach $1,000 a month in eHow money

I am at 88 articles published on eHow. I hope to soon reach the 100 article goal mark. After that, I want to go for 150, 200 and so forth until I eventually have up 500 articles. I don't expect to do this anytime soon.

However, if the average people make is $2 per eHow article, then it stands to readon that with 500, I would make a virtually guaranteed thousand bucks on eHow per month. If some hit pay dirt and do exceptionally, well then I won't have to write 500 eHow articles to reach my $1,000 monthly goal.

eHow Earnings -- 3rd Sunday

Well, if you've been following my journey this is the 3rd Sunday now. I did a little experimenting and put up a bunch of computer related topics for eHow. I think that it's kind of early to tell which topics are going to do the best. My highest earner finally reached a dollar. I also have now reached the half way mark to the minimum payout. I feel optimistic that I will reach payout prior to the end of the month. There is only one more Sunday before I make the conclusion for the eHow money and earnings. Well, it won't really be a conclusion. It will be more of an optimistic hope for eHow money.

I'm trying something new out this week to see what happens. I've been writing a bunch of eHow articles on how to do different things on the computer. I think that this will be helpful. I'm not doing things that you'd only have to be a computer whiz to do. In fact, a computer whiz will know how to do the eHow articles I wrote this week.

My goal of the eHow computer articles was to provide readers with basic computer information. It's for the average person, like myself, that wants to know more than just how to log onto the Internet with their computers.

eHow Earnings Updated the Second Sunday

I figured the second Sunday would be the big test. I couldn't wait until Easter Sunday. That would be one full week of being on eHow. By the 11th, I had a total of 34 articles posted on eHow to earn passive income. This was getting to be exciting.

I was more anxious for the Easter Sunday eHow earnings update to show up than I was for the Easter bunny to arrive. Now, don't get me wrong. I love chocolate and Easter egg hunts. I just wanted to know if I was going to make the money or not.

My grand total for the Easter Sunday update was $2.41. I was very happy. It wasn't as high as doubling my money again but it was a nice surprise anyway. I feel there is real potential.

I learned a new thing during the second week of writing on eHow. You should post your articles in the forum on the community chat section of eHow. There is a daily folder for your newest eHow articles. I'm not sure how much it helps, but I have noticed I'm receiving more friend requests this way.

I personally think that friends will help if they send your articles to someone else that wants to read them and click the ads. We can hope right!

eHow Earnings Updated First Sunday

Ok, so I figured I would start my week on Sunday. This will make it easiest for me to keep up with my earnings and money. I started on the 3rd and the first Sunday was only the third day. So for my first official eHow earnings on a Sunday.. my grand total was 8 cents.

Doubled My Earnings in One Day

Ok, as you can see if you've been following my eHow's earning adventure, I get excited easily. Yes, I admit it! I'm even becoming an eHow addict. I sign into eHow to discover that my dollar had turned into $2.23 the very next day! I had literally doubled my money on eHow. I was so incredibly psyched and happy.

The biggest difference in my eHow writing was I was following the tips I'd learned about how to write for eHow and make money for a passive income.

[1] Have links going back to your eHow articles at other sites.. but quality links. So, I had gone back and added links on MySpace, Yahoo Answers, Facebook, Bukisa, Associated Content and Twitter.

[2]Check your article with the Google tool to see what keywords it picks up. I had to edit several of my articles after doing this. I was surprised at what keywords were being picked up.

So, it's possible to make money on eHow. But would I ever reach the $10 payout? After all, I don't want to wait three months or even two months to get my 10 bucks of money from my eHow articles. I would have to wait and find out.

eHow Earnings Made My First Dollar

Wow, was I ever excited when I hit the milestone of making my first dollar of money on eHow earnings! I know that a dollar won't buy you much. While I was excited about eHow and writing articles, I took a short break and didn't submit anything for a couple of days. I wanted to see how my earnings would do. I also wanted to learn more.

I ended up finding a few really good resources for writing on eHow, using SEO and using inbound links for my eHow articles. I spent my couple days break reading up on that information and freelance writing for my other writing ventures. I wasn't so thrilled to be doing the other freelance writing. My eight cents of money on my eHow account was teasing and taunting me of the potential I might make on eHow.

Now, that my earnings are still rising on eHow, I know I can make money at this. I feel very confident. My dream is to give up all my other freelance writing work at home jobs and focus on eHow completely. But, I must wait since the bill collectors won't take too kindly to me not having any money upfront to pay them.

eHow Third Day Earnings, I Made eHow Money

Much to my surprise and delight, on my third day of logging into my eHow account to submit more articles, I had actually earned money! I was in shock. I was in happy shock. I had heard that to see any earnings on eHow, you needed your articles to be at least a month old.

I posted my eHow articles on my Facebook page and put a link in my signature on my email. I am guessing those inbound links were how people found my first articles on eHow to be able to get any money at all.

How much was my first earnings? It was for eight cents! I know that's not much at all. I wasn't expecting anything so it was a milestone to see my first eHow earnings. My second day of freelance writing for eHow, I only wrote 3 more articles.

What really came as a surprised to me was the article that earned my first eHow earnings money was from that batch on the second day! I thought for sure my article on the AVI files would make the first money for me on eHow.

I began writing articles for eHow on April 3, 2009. Now, mind you I had studied carefully a lot of information before I began to even compose my first article on eHow. I wanted to learn more about it. Each site that I've done freelance writing for has different requirements. Having been rejected by Demand Studios, I was nervous that anything I put up on eHow would make it or even begin to see any money.

On the first day, I put up:

I did this one because I knew all about the topic. I figured it would give me a chance to get a feel for the eHow templates and submission process. I was very excited to have this as my first eHow article.

I read the forums some and tried to learn more about eHow to see if this was really going to be a freelance writing option for me. The template was fairly easy to use to submit my article to eHow. I even created a template in MS Word to use strictly for my eHow articles.

I spent the first day also creating a folder and subfolder to back up my eHow articles. There was a lot of talk on the forum boards about articles being deleted from eHow. This made me very nervous. Backing up my eHow articles was important to me.

My Online Earnings Summary Part 1

With the recession, I’ve found I’d had to bump up my efforts to earn money freelance writing online. It seems that there is more effort need to earn money freelance writing then even as early as the beginning of the year. My suspicions are that it is primarily the economy. More companies are outsourcing their freelance writing work to writers that will charge less. Others are hiring one good editor and then paying bulk prices per word and accepting lower quality freelance writing. This of course, makes it hard on others that earn money freelance writing online.

I am one of those freelance writers that needs money now to be able to pay the current bills. I need money now to restock the cabinets and refrigerator shelves. Being able to make money online is the only way that I work. I had been job hunting earlier in the year for a more traditional job. However, the jobs simply aren’t out there.

Here are some weird things that I found with my freelance writing online this year. Let’s look at the sites that I normally do freelance writing for and see my results. It really makes you have to ask are some of these avenues worth the continued time and effort.

Demand Studios: I applied for a writing position and was politely rejected. They pay $5 and $15 an article with a maximum of 10 in your queue at a time. A new writer will probably have to wait around a week to get work reviewed. Therefore, at Demand Studios, a new writer can expect to make around $20 a day.

eHow: eHow seems to pay strictly on the number of ads clicked from the articles that you post. I’ve just started experimenting with eHow. To be honest, the eHow earnings is what made me decide to write this page view only article and share my journey with making money with freelance writing online. I will report on the first week with eHow. I wrote 44 articles for eHow during the first week of joining. I am averaging 12 cents a day from that first week. If you look at my Helium, Bukisa and Associated Content volume of articles and average daily earnings, I will have to say that eHow is going to be the biggest and best investment for writing time to get money from online freelance writing. Bukisa is would be my second highest earner with Associated Content coming in third.

Increase eHow earnings: I should submit higher volume on eHow using the insider tricks that I learned to generate the appropriate ads. There really isn’t a need to worry about socializing, networking or even advertising articles on eHow. The site is so huge and big on the search engines that with SEO’ed articles that are around 300 words long, you can be pretty much guaranteed money. The trick seems to be the older your articles, the more they start making you per day.

Helium: I have been a member of Helium for almost 3 years. I have up 457 articles on the website. They pay by page views and ad revenue. I don’t know their secret formula. My earnings on Helium average 45 cents a day. That’s not so hot if you really think about it. You must maintain rating stars and be active to receive your payout. You must reach $25 to get a payout. However, I didn’t know about SEO and all of that when I started writing at Helium. Perhaps that knowledge would’ve earned me more on Helium?

Increase Earnings on Helium: I could increase my earnings on Helium if I rated their articles more. I should also network with the others on the Helium site more and participate in the forum. When I was doing this, in the beginning years, my daily average was around $2 to $3 a day.

Bukisa: I joined Bukisa back near the first of the year. I thought it would be a great place to put non-exclusive articles that I wrote on Helium and write for Associated Content. Now, with Bukisa I haven’t had the time to copy and paste all my non-exclusive work for AC over to there. I expect my earnings will triple per day when I complete that task. On Bukisa, I’m average 27 cents a day with 135 articles. This is a BIG difference from Helium with over 400 articles. Bukisa pays strictly on number of unique page views per 24 hours. The minimum payout is $10.

Increase Earnings on Bukisa: Bukisa, I’ve noticed that my older articles generate quite a bit more income than my newer articles. This tells me, like other sites, it’s imperative to submit daily to Bukisa new content to give the other articles time to age. I also don’t have many friends or comment very often on Bukisa. I’m sure reciprocal page views would increase earnings there quite a bit too.

Associated Content: On AC, I currently have just over 2,000 articles published. I have lots of fans. I comment at least three days a week. I do all the social networking and so forth on Associated Content. My daily earnings for AC is highest of all the freelance writing sites. I average $18 a day from Associated Content so far submitted. However, if you compare the other websites and AC, I would suspect that this amount per day should be significantly higher. This is taking into account the upfront payments and page views combined. After all, I’m comparing daily earnings with amount of freelance writing work. I noticed no increase in upfront payment with page views accumulated, so it’s almost pointless at this time to increase promotion, commenting and so forth to hope for a larger upfront payment to make more on average per day.

Increase earnings on AC: I should write more volume. Although, many of my regular fans say they don’t know how I could submit at much higher volume than I currently do on AC. I could comment more and I could promote more. But for $18 a day, is it really going to increase the amount of earnings and be worth it?

NinerNiner: NinerNiner is a blogging website that pays roughly 50 cents per 200 word post. I write as a dedicated blogger there. But I only average around $1 a day with ad revenue sharing and upfront money for posting.

My Conclusions from this Freelance Writing Analysis:
I should focus my need for immediate money on Associated Content. After all there is a monthly page view bonus money and upfront money when I submit articles for payment. My second priority should be to build a very large library of eHow articles that can start getting age on them. Then my third priority should be Bukisa since the increased daily earnings are proportional to volume as well. The other sites, I should just take the passive income and not worry about them since I have the primary sites that will give me the most return on my money and my time for online freelance writing gigs.

There are lots of places that you can write for, such as online magazines, but if you’re not able to wait long periods or not lucky enough to land these freelance writing gigs, then hopefully some of this information has helped you.

Put the dry ingredients in a medium size plastic bowl. Add to the bowl one large egg, 1/2 cup of quality shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese, and 1/4 to 1/2 cup (or more) hot chicken broth, or very hot water. Combine together until you have a nice thick dough that you can easily work with. Let this dough stand for about five to ten minutes.

Roll the dough to about one inch thick. Cut with the cookie cutter. Bake for approximately one hour at 200 degrees.

Peel pears and cut in half. Set aside.

I was listening to the local radio station while doing my freelance writing work. An interesting story caught my attention. Wal-Mart is facing a potential lawsuit for preventing a woman from bringing a monkey as a service animal into their Springfield, Missouri store. The customer that was not allowed in the store is now considering suing Wal-Mart for violation of the American Disabilities Act.

According to the Kansas City Star newspaper report, Debby Rose has had problems at other establishments with not being allowed to bring her service monkey inside. Ms. Rose states that she suffers from public panic attacks due to a social anxiety disorder and the ten year old monkey makes it easier for her to go out in public.

“Health officials in 2006 sent letters to restaurants and grocery stores, advising them not to let Rose in with the monkey.

Rose also alleges she was denied access to Cox Health Systems facilities.

The three entities declined to comment on the lawsuit.”

I think that the health department is devaluing the mental disability. Social anxiety disorders are just as serious as someone needing a dog to help them see if they have a severe visual impairment or visual disability. It is a fine line to draw. From the date of the letter from the health department, she has been dealing with these types of problems now for over two years.

One of my favorite parts about this summer recipe is that it is simple to fix. You can prepare drunken peach grill recipe very quickly and with virtually no work. This is a quick and very tasty grill dessert that your family is sure to enjoy.

This summer recipe serves 6.

Drunken Peach Grill Recipe: Ingredients

2 tablespoons of unsalted, low-fat margarine

2 tablespoons dark brown sugar

¼ cup dark rum (or ¼ cup of water with strong rum flavoring added)

6 ripe peaches

1 pint of butter pecan ice cream

Drunken Peach Grill Recipe: Peach Preparation

Cut the six firm, ripe peaches in half. Pit them. Do not peel the peaches.

Drunken Peach Grill Recipe: Drunken Sauce

Combine rum or rum water with butter in a metal sauce pan and heat over the grill until
bubbling slightly.

Remove the sauce pan from the grill. Add the brown sugar to the drunken sauce mix and stir until dissolved.

Drunken Peach Grill Recipe: Grilling the Peaches

Dip the peach halves in the drunken sauce. Coat each peach individually very well. Place on the grill with the flat side up. Grill until the peach skin has light grill marks on it. Turn and repeat for the flat side. Remove from the heat and serve the drunken peaches with a heaping scoop of butter pecan ice cream.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Lucky Sevens

Lucky sevens is when you get a column in Magic 21 that are three sevens. Seven times three is 21. You can get some really good Magic 21 game points with a column of lucky sevens. When you have a seven at the top of a column, make sure to leave it open. Do not place any cards but seven in that column for your Magic 21 game. Do this for your Magic 21 game for up to two columns of seven. After that, you can use the sevens.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Eleven Columns

In the Magic 21 game, you need to have your columns add to 21 to clear them. One way to quickly get 21 is to have your columns set to add up to eleven. Eleven columns in Magic 21 game can then have a face card or Ace placed on them to quickly get 21 points and more gvs.

Use the following combinations to get 11 columns in the Magic 21 game:

9, 2 cards

6,5 cards

8,3 cards

2,3,6 cards

4,7 cards (but keep your lucky 7 columns open)

Magic 21 Game Tips: One-Eye Jacks

The one-eyed jacks in the Magic 21 game are the jacks that have their heads turned. These need to be the first card in your Magic 21 game column. You can place a 10 or an Ace on them to get bonus points in the Magic 21 game and collect even more gvs. Save those one-eye jacked columns to make this combination in the Magic 21 game.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Suicide Kings

Suicide kings in Magic 21 game are wonderful point makers and gvs. A suicide king in the Magic 21 game is the King of Hearts. You need an Ace and King of Hearts Combination to get a suicide king bonus points for the Magic 21 game. Save those Ace Columns and King of Heart columns to make this combination.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Use Ace Cards Wisely

An Ace Card in the Magic 21 game counts for one point or eleven points depending on which column that you use it on. Remember that you need the Ace card for the suicide kings and one-eye jack combinations for extra Magic 21 game bonus points. Use the Ace only when you absolutely have to or with the combinations that give you the Magic 21 game bonus points.

Magic 21 Game Tips: 5 Card 21

The 5 card 21 combination in the Magic 21 game gives you lots of points as well. If you can get your column to equal exactly 21 points in the Magic 21 game without going over in five cards you can collect some really big bonus points and gvs.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Streaks

A streak is when you are able to clear columns in a row. For example, if you clear one column, next card another column then you will have a streak of 2. The higher the streak, the more bonus points you can collect in Magic 21 game. If you are on a streak in the Magic 21 game, use your Ace cards to continue the streak even if it is not a suicide king, one-eyed jack combination for even more Magic 21 game bonus points.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Lower Number of Rooms

All the rooms combined for each of the games on Gamesville are calculated for the high score. This means that if you go to a room that has virtually no-one in it, you can still collect Magic 21 game gvs and be in the top five. I’ve noticed in my game play at Gamesville, that the rooms with fewer people tend to give more gvs per column cleared in Magic 21 game.

Magic 21 Game Tips: Top 5 Winner

If you can be a top 5 winner in the Magic 21 game, you can really collect some bonus gvs. They give you additional gvs for being in the top 5 over the gvs that you collected while playing Magic 21 game.

There is very little work in putting them together.

Virtually Sugar Free Banana Delight Grill: Ingredients

½ gallon of no-sugar added or sugar free vanilla ice cream or ½ gallon of no-sugar added or sugar free frozen vanilla yogurt

½ cup of brown sugar substitute

¼ cup of unsalted, low-fat margarine

4 firm bananas that are just slightly under-ripe

1 bottle sugar free chocolate syrup

Virtually Sugar Free Banana Delight Grill: Sauce Mixture

In the metal pan over medium grill heat, combine the margarine, brown sugar substitute and grill until completely melted.

Take the slightly under-ripe bananas and cut them in half length-wise. Lay the bananas in the pan and completely coat with the sauce mixture.

Grill the bananas over a medium grill heat for approximately two minutes on each side. Remove from the heat and place on dessert plate.

12 cut slices of fresh bought pineapple

4 tablespoons of fresh cherries sliced in half

4 slices of Angel Food Cake

Sweet Pink Grilled Honey Pineapple Marinade

Combine honey, lemon juice and cherry brandy together in a glass mixing bowl. Place the fresh cut pineapple slices in the marinade mixture. Marinate one to three hours prior to grilling.

Winston-Salem, North Carolina is an average mid-sized southern town. The most popular place to shop is Hanes Mall for kids, teens, parents and others. A local resident of Lexington, North Carolina was with his Mom shopping at Hanes Mall on July 11th. The nine-year old boy had his Crocs sandals catch in the escalator at the mall and barely was able to jerk his foot out.

According to MSNBC local news, the mother, Becky Simmons initially thought that her nine-year old son was simply playing around on the escalator. The boy’s Crocs caught in the escalator and were burned and torn before the nine-year old boy was able to jerk his foot free.

Also according to MSNBC local news, this is not the first incident of the Crocs causing injury on escalators. The rubber shoes catch on the side and heat up. There have been amputations and other serious injuries reported because of the popular shoes catching in the gaps on escalators.

The popular mall is now considering placing signs of warning about rubber shoes at the escalators. Crocs has stated that they have placed a warning tag on their new shoes. “The Consumer Product Safety Commission said nearly 10,000 Americans are treated each year after accidents on escalators. Parents have the right to beat; emotionally abuse and brain wash children in the US. If you have a tender heart this is not the article you want to read. Not many people like to hear the hard ugly facts about child slavery in the United States today. Yet, child slavery is happening in virtually every neighborhood, regardless of race, economic status or educational background.

Child Slavery: Emotional Abuse

There are some homes that children are screamed at and told all sorts of things on a daily basis. These children truly believe that the emotional abuse they endure is not abuse at all. The yelling is because they misbehaved and deserved it. They have such low self-esteem that it is frightening.

But can you have someone intervene? For older children that have endured years of emotional abuse and been emotional slaves to parents, the answer is no. If an older child states that they will not talk in a therapy session (court ordered or not) there is nothing that a therapist can do to help the child.

In the rare instance that someone intervenes to help the emotionally abused child, the child is still in the presence of the abuser daily. The child slave owner doesn’t want a healthy child. They want a slave that is going to listen to every command and order. The slave owner parent will continue to emotionally abuse the child. Some will even threaten older children that if they speak out in therapy sessions, they will be severely punished.

Who is the child to believe? It is only natural that they are going to believe the lies and threats of the child slave owner. After all, no-one has been able to stop these monsters earlier in the child’s life. The child or teen then listens to the child slave owner, who is their parent, and refuses to allow the therapy to work for them.

Yet, in the United States it is perfectly legal for you to call your child or teen any name that you want. You can threaten them with anything that you want. Why not? After all, children are not people. They are simply property in the United States.

How many people hear children being screamed at across the street or next door? How many people will see an enraged Mom or Dad cuss their child in public? We glare. We frown. Yet, many of us do not step in to help these kids. The ones that do step in find that the system in the United States permits this type of emotional abuse and accepts it.

If a child communicates that they are being threatened and emotionally traumatized, it still does not matter. Child Protective Services is so over-burdened with “real” cases that they cannot intervene in emotional abuse from a child slave owner. These children are suffering in silence.
Some children make it to a therapist. They exhibit all the signs of an emotionally abused child. Yet, their slave owners are slick and careful and know the laws. As long as they are not leaving physical marks and are not sexually abusing the children and teens, guess what? The child slave owner parents can get away with whatever they want emotionally abusive in the United States.

Child Slavery: Unlimited Nannies

The United States outlawed unlimited child labor and even put in child labor laws. These of course are only for the business groups. As a parent, you can work your child a great deal in virtually any type of work without paying them or even thanking them.
There is a teen that gets up in the middle of the night to answer the cry on the baby monitor and change a baby diaper. There is a small elementary child helping a younger sibling with a bottle. All of these types of helping the parents out are in the name of just older siblings helping younger ones. After all it teaches responsibility.

Yet, I beg to differ. Irresponsible parents know that they can have all the children that they want because the other kids will bear the burden of physical and emotional care. Parents don’t even have to have the money to afford kids because the government will step in with WIC and Medicaid, free lunches, utility assistance and so forth. A woman with too many kids can just have the government pay for more kids. The kids can then be used to take care of one another.
Siblings are becoming the unlimited nannies. It doesn’t matter that there sleep routines are interrupted. It doesn’t matter that they are deprived social time with peers. It doesn’t even matter that they don’t have time to complete their homework and are falling asleep on buses and at their school desks.

Child Slavery: Brain Washed Child Slaves

Brain washed child slaves are the hardest to help in the United States. First, the child slave owners teach these children to lie about the events going on in their homes. At a very early age, they are taught to keep secrets and not tell the rest of the world what is happening. They exhibit all the signs of an abused child but there is no way to prove the brain washing and torture are happening in the home. When questioned, the child slaves will lie repeatedly to protect their child slave owners.

Intervention is almost impossible. The children believe that this type of behavior and chaos in life is perfectly normal. When challenged, it really bothers them. If they get to the point that they realize that it is not acceptable, they are torn with bonds that they have for their child slave owners. It takes years of deprogramming someone that has been so thoroughly brainwashed from the cradle.

Child Slavery: Unlimited Yard Labor

One of the laws is that children cannot operate certain types of machinery in the paid labor force. This was to reduce the number of child injuries in work related accidents. Yet, today parents can legally have child slavery with young children and teens operating yard equipment that is dangerous. How many times have you driven through neighborhoods and seen young children behind push mowers, weed edgers and even riding lawn mowers? I’ve even seen kids spraying chemicals and pesticides on yards to keep them healthy and green!

Some will say that this is not dangerous. Children learn responsibility by raking the yard, using leaf blowers and so forth. The truth of the matter is that parents can get out of their responsibility of doing the yard work by having child slaves. They don’t have to pay them or even thank them for this type of work.

Child Slaves: Beating is Allowed

In the United States if you do not put your child into a doctor’s office or emergency room, the majority of the time there is not going to be intervention. A slap across the face or a spanking with whatever object is handy is permissible in the United States.

You can beat the crap out of your child and if no-one sees the marks, you are home free. Of course the child slave owners tell these children no-one will believe them. If they tell, they will get even worse. A lot of the time they do get worse if they speak out. They learn at an early age that the physical abuse is part of life and to survive secrets and lies are to be told to the rest of the world.

The attitude that parents can do anything they want to their child as far as corporal punishment is accepted by our society. Also, you can jerk a child away from a display case in a store and the majority of times, no-one is going to intervene and tell you to calm down or be more gentle with your child. A toddler can be slapped on the rear and knocked off his feet, while people stand by and glare.

Is it alright to slap a kid across the face? Is it alright to take a spanking board to them? Can you whip and threaten a teen? You will be surprised at how many teens are given corporal punishment, slapped, jerked around, pushed and shoved on regular basis. Yet, our society allows this.

George Carlin was a favorite guest on the Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show and appeared on the show a 135 times. Two of George Carlin’s comedy albums won Grammy Awards.

We will all miss him greatly. He was one of my favorite comedians of all time. There is just something about his humor that really gets you to think.

Gardenias are beautiful shrubs with green glossy leaves and in summer they bear flowers that have the most amazing perfume – it is pungent but light, aromatic and somewhat heady and is unforgettable once you have smelt its distinct emission of perfume. You walk along the streets and the fragrance is amazing.

Have you ever thought of growing your own gardenia bush? Your garden may not be suitable depending on the structure and drainage of the soil, but you can still grow gardenias – in pots. Apparently, gardenias actually thrive if grown in pots.

Select a vigorous variety of gardenia – Belmont or Miami Supreme. Ensure that they have not become root bound in their pots before you purchase them. Use a clay or terracotta pot 2 inches bigger than the rootball. They prefer an acidic soil (clayey). A good peat based potting soil is recommended and add time release fertilizer pellets and dry ironite. Apply Epsom salts and liquid iron chelate once a month. If they are placed outside in summer they can get the right amount of humidity and will thrive. Shift your potted gardenia after 2pm to a shadier environment.

Be careful of overwatering, over potting and over fertilizing, but, please don’t allow them to get too dry, either. Gardenias are prone to root disease which can be eliminated with the right supplementations as mentioned above. In winter bring your Gardenia indoors and place it in front of your sunniest window. Don’t fertilize in winter for that is when the plant is dormant and doesn’t need fertilizing. Gardenias are prone to aphids, but there is no need to use chemicals and poisons to treat them – just wash them off with the hose whenever you notice them.

You are drawn to all varieties of cactus maybe because you live in a very dry climate with arid land or maybe you just like them simply because they are different. Have you thought of growing them as indoor plants as they require very little maintenance. Cacti are succulents which means they have the ability to store water, unlike conventional pot plants. These plants seem to thrive on neglect but they do require a warm temperature.

There are predominantly two types of cacti – the jungle type and the desert type. The jungle varieties require partial shade whilst their desert counterparts prefer full sun and for this reason alone do not combine the two varieties of cactus in the one container. All cacti should be kept draft free and will not endure if they are placed near a fan or air conditioning duct.

Ensure you pick a pot plant container (preferably terracotta or clay) with drainage holes. The pot plant saucer should contain gravel and there are a few varieties with different colors available. A cacti’s worst enemy is overwatering. Clay and terracotta pots breathe which is a huge plus for growing any variety of cactus. Plant your cactus in soil with good drainage. Potting soil and sand in a mixture of 60/40 is ideal. Please do not use “sea” sand because it contains salt.

You can get a variety of either jungle only of desert only cacti of different heights and structures so you can create an interesting look. Fill your terracotta pot with soil to within 2 inches of its brim and use a spoon to plant your cacti adequately after deciding on how you would like to have them arranged. After being planted and bedded in their pot, arrange a thin layer of gravel, of your desired color, on top of the soil to give them a stunning effect. You can them place them on a sunny window sill where they will do well. Just remember, jungle cacti need partial shade.

Keep in mind that water is a priority when it comes to cacti. During cooler winter months they may only need watering once a month. In the warmer months weekly watering is sufficient, even though you need to water them sparingly. Cacti can be fertilized twice a year but only during the hotter months when the plant is actively growing . Apart from overwatering causing stem rot, mealy bugs and fungus gnats can kill your plant if neglected.

It wasn’t too long ago that that particular question was easily answered.

If your meal is based on red meat you drink a red wine. If your meal is based on white meat – you drink a white wine.

It is all to do with conditioning your palette to enhance the flavor of the food you eat.

That sounds simple enough doesn’t it? To accompany a meal consisting of steak or lamb, you choose a red wine. To accompany a meal of pork, chicken or fish, you choose a white wine. So off you go to the liquor outlet and get confronted with innumerable red wines and innumerable white wines – which red or white wine, still or sparkling? Merlot or Claret? Moselle or a Chardonnay? The choices are endless or so it would seem.

If you are just buying a bottle of wine for yourself and/or partner to drink with your meal – depending on your age and taste in wines, the choice is going to be easy.

12 asparagus spears
2 carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons seasoned dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons country-style Dijon mustard
1 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried
1 teaspoon Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce
4 flounder or sole fillets
In a 12-inch skillet over high heat, combine asparagus, carrots, and enough water to cover vegetables; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender; drain.
Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, bread crumbs, mustard, dill and TABASCO Sauce. Spread half of mixture on top sides of fish fillets. Top each fillet with one-fourth of cooked asparagus and carrots. Roll fish around vegetables and place seam side down in a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Spread remaining mustard mixture on tops of fish rolls. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Makes 4 servings.

I came across a gardening project called garden buckets that work well with teens and with kids that are school age. The great thing is that this project can be done as a family and does not cost a great deal. With warm weather you can get all of the supplies needed for the garden buckets without spending a fortune. It is fun to do flowers and plants in these little family gardens.

Have Fun with the Buckets

Allow the teen or child to select the bucket that they want to use for the garden buckets project that they will plant their flowers and plants in. Once you have the bucket in tow, you can go to the local craft supply store and select items to decorate the bucket with. Keep it simple and easy depending on the child's crafting skill level.

Garden buckets should be fun and a great way to show off flowers. A teen can decorate with bling, markers, stickers, paint, nail polish or whatever they think of. Younger children can decorate with markers and stickers. You can even surprise spray painting the garden buckets. The key is to have fun with the project and enjoy some family time together.

Putting the Garden Buckets Together

Once your teen or child has decorated their garden bucket, it is time to get the plants, flowers, soil and fertilizer pellets. In the bottom of the bucket drill a few drain holes. Line the bottom of the bucket with leftover Styrofoam peanuts or rocks to keep the flowers and plants drained. Mix a small amount of the time released fertilizer pellets in with the soil. Dig a small hole and plant several plants or flowers in the garden buckets. Water thoroughly.

Did you know that with younger children you can do edible plants such as flowering pansies, cute and pretty nasturiums and adorable little gem marigolds. You can also do cherry tomatoes and other blooming vegetables. This way if the younger child decides to eat the plants, they will not get sick.

In a city near Tokyo, Japan a lovely African Grey parrot named Yosuke flew out of his cage and ended up on the roof. Police were dispatched to rescue Yosuke. According to the report, the African Grey decided to stay mute when he was at the police station. He would not speak or do anything. If you know these birds, it is probably that Yosuke felt nervous around the police and the all of the commotion that is normally in a police station.

The police decided the following day to transport Yosuke to a vet office. Once he relaxed some, Yosuke decided to open up to the vet. According to Associated Press, the African Grey had been taught for the past two years to say his name and recite his address. While at the vet station, the African Grey parrot did just this for the vet. The information that the parrot gave turned out to be correct. His thorough training ended up saving his life and having him rejoin his human family.

American Idol David Boxing Match

Everyone has been saying how the finale of the American Idol season 7 are between David and David. It is funny how everyone has been saying that this is a boxing match of sorts. It was soooooooo cute when the show started tonight with Big David versus Little David. I loved how they did the boxing theme for this finale this year. It is terrific! We have it on DVR so I haven't gotten to see the rest of it yet.

Traffic always seems the worst when I am trying to drive some place in a hurry. Other drivers seem to have no clue as to how to drive. It is a wonder that they got the car turned on in the first place. Some annoying drivers should not be allowed to drive.

So, I'm driving along and the left lane must merge to the right lane. There is no traffic behind me. I follow the speed limit. The elderly man rushes past my car and nearly clips me trying to get over. I had to literally slam on the breaks. Then his lovely female elderly companion shoots me the bird!

Rolling Stick Shifter

I am approaching a light that is on a slight incline. I don't sit on the bumper. We're not going to get through the light faster if I can count your nose hairs in your rear view mirror. But this driver just kept rolling their car back and forth at the light. I wanted to tell them that I got.. they have a stick shift and roll. Good grief!

Stuck Turn Signal

Driving along the highway in my car, there is another car with the left turn signal on. They are in the slow lane. I speed up so that they can go into the fast lane. Nope. No good. They stay. It turns out later that they drove for approximately 10 miles with that left turn signal on and then exited to the right. If you are too stupid to see your turn signal light flashing in your dashboard, do you really need a license?

There is a reason that they call it the passing lane and fast lane. You are supposed to drive a little above the speed limit. Ok, you might want to even drive more than a little above the speed limit. Come on now! Then you get someone that wants to play follow the leader. They cut you off at above the speed limit movement and then slow down. You try to pass on the right, and they just happen to go right too. It is like having to follow the leader. If you can't figure out which lane you're supposed to drive slow in, why have a license?

I realize that a telemarketer probably did not sit and dream of harassing people on the phone when they were asked in high school what they wanted to do with their life. I'm also sure that a telemarketer didn't raise their hand in middle school and say, "Oh yes, I want to be a telemarketer when I grow up." So don't get me wrong. I know that everyone has to make money and pay the bills. Yet, there are times that I really don't have the patience for telemarketers. I would like to spend my time with the family without the interruption. My biggest peeve is when the telemarketer calls your phone right in the middle of the family meal.

MySpace is Turning into a Teen Playground

I have noticed that MySpace is turning into a teen playground. The more and more that I look around on MySpace, the more teens I see than any other group of people. Perhaps, I am looking in the wrong places? I think that it is discouraging that social networking sites are turning all to teens. What happened to talking to your teen friends on the phone? What happened to writing letters by hand?

Teens spend way too much time on MySpace. They have to comment on each other. They have to put up pictures. And look at all the horror stories you read in the news about teens and MySpace. These don't even account for all the other horrible events that happen probably by the minute on MySpace.

I let my teen talk some on MySpace but there is frustration that I am constantly monitoring the page and reviewing the picts and comments. I was absolutely shocked at some of the comments and suggestions that are made by teens on MySpace. I'm not any goody hoot person. I have been exposed to a lot. But the amount of profanity and sexual suggestions and flat out disgusting things that teens are putting up on MySpace really makes me wonder about the future of our country.

YouTube Review of Exploding Volcano Cake

I was browsing around YouTube and just relaxing for the day when I came across this YouTube video by accident. It looks like a lot of family fun. The parents of a young child had built an edible, exploding volcano cake. I can tell you by the size of the thing and the real lava that it must not be easy to make. But the family and friends at the party seemed to have a really good time. I'm sure that everyone was in love with the idea. I thought it was absolutely fascinating to watch. Can you imagine how much science a kid can learn at the birthday party and afterwards when parents talk about volcanoes? What a neat idea!

Vote for the Top 10 in a Subcategory

I initially said in the other article to vote for the top 10 people. I was wrong. You vote for the top 10 in the subcategory. But there is a trick. You get new votes each month BUT you never can vote on a review but once. So choose your votes wisely!

One hard thing is wanting to vote on your friends' reviews and hope for reciprocal votes. I have found that reciprocal votes aren't really going to happen. Some friends might vote on your stuff but the majority of people are voting randomly or on the top 10 in each subcategory. LOL Also, now that it's the end of the month a lot of people have run out of votes.

Shared Reveiw Score or SR Score to get You Money

On your profile you will see the SR score. This starts at 50% and goes up and down as you interact in the community. The higher the SR score the more votes you get to cast. The more votes you cast, the chances are in your favor that the review will make the top 10 in the subcategory and bring you in money.

How to Increase your SR Score

Your SR score will slowly go up if you vote for other's reviews.
Making friends.
Commenting several sentences on reviews (even if you don't vote for it)
Write reviews

Decreases in SR Score

Writing short comments
Writing voted in your comments
Having a friend request rejected

How Much Money Can You Make?

I have no idea. I feel certain though that it is more than some of the shared revenue sites. It is a great way to social network and have fun too. I like to cast votes and comment when I'm between writing tasks or relaxing.

I took the time to look at other member's earnings. You can make more money than:

If you cast you votes well, you can make more money than one ptc ad site or even doing several of them.

You can make more money just from voting than what you make doing ratings on Helium. You can make more money from a couple of good reviews and voting than you might make on Helium in adshare revenue.

You can make more money than the average person makes on Google adsense ads coming to their blogs, and even more so for new blogs and newbies to the Google adsense system. You can also make more money than the average person or new blog to Bidvertiser.

You can make more money than the average person makes on the paid to socialize sites.

If you stop and think, when you register you are brand new but if you get friends, up your SR score and vote like crazy, you can make money with SharedReviews. I wouldn't use it as my primary writing venue or social venue. However, it is a nice little residue income for sitting around voting and sending friend invites.

How to Get a Ton of Friends

After you register, click the two people holding hands on some of the reviews you are voting on. The monitor on the same screen being green means that they are showing online. Once you get some friends, click community. Click firends. Go to one of the friends. Click view all friends. With each friend, click send friend invite. It's that simple.

When you click your community board you can find out how many votes you have left. You can see which friends left comments, voted or have new reviews to vote on. It's really cool.

The envelope is to send me mail there. After I accept the friend, you click community, friends and then view all friends by my name. I have over 200 friends so that will get you started.
